Johanna has been in the facial industry for over 7 years, but she was born into the beauty world. As a daughter of a former cosmetologist, she grew up watching her mother thrive in the service of others. After a successful few years as a professional makeup artist, she attended esthetics school and found her passion in the wholistic care of skin instead. Outside of her treatment room, she enjoys spending time with her hilarious husband, weight training, planning her next tattoo, eating delicious food and losing herself in a good fantasy novel. Her favorite title is “mommy,” given to her by her adorable three year old daughter.

She created Novel Skn in the privacy of her home to offer exceptional service, experience and results.

Behind the Name

Johanna loves reading almost as much as she loves talking about all things skin; the word “novel” is a reference to both definitions. Her novel approach to skin health is what makes your experience unique and memorable.
